Ligging

Het pand is gelegen in hartje Den Haag, te midden van nationale en internationale organisaties en dicht bij de regeringsgebouwen en het koninklijk paleis. Met het Vredepaleis om de hoek en tegenover het Panorama Mesdag en het Hilton Hotel is de Zeestraat een bekende en aantrekkelijke straat alsook een doorgangsweg voor auto’s, fietsers en voetgangers. Veel mensen ontdekten het BK centrum op die manier. Ook met openbaar vervoer is het goed te bereiken. 

Buurt

Zowel aan de voor- als aan de achterkant is er veel groen, ruimte en stilte. Als je de straat oversteekt kom je op de Sophialaan en wandel je tussen eeuwenoude eiken naar het Plein 1813 en verder... een rust en sereniteit waarbij je je niet kunt voorstellen dat je midden in een grote stad bent. Aan de achterzijde van het huis is er het uitzicht op een immense tuin, een stiltegebied met hoge bomen en rozenbedden.

Het huis

Het pand is representatief en heeft een ruime receptie met aansluitend een tuinkamer waarin ook tentoonstellingen gehouden worden. Daarmee wordt de eerdere functie die het pand had – als galerie van de Haagse School – op een spirituele manier in ere herstelt.

The building is representative and has a spacious reception area followed by a garden room where exhibitions are also held. linking, the previous function that the building had - as a gallery of the Hague School - is restored in a spiritual way.
